I was very happy to see that openMSX is available for Mac OS X, but after installing it I have realized it's so useless (no offense intended) without Catapult. In my humble opinion, clicking the application shouldn't even call openMSX directly. Or even, openMSX shouldn't even exist without Catapult at all!
I mean, Stella has it's own front-end, MAME has it's own front-end... There should be a permanent fusion between Catapult and openMSX or they shouldn't ever be separated. Just my $0.02...
Let's agree that, unless you wanna do some 8-bit BASIC programming, and the C-BIOS doesn't provide that, turning the MSX on without "cartridges" (ROMs) is pointless.
By the way, just to make it more Mac-ready, it could automatically create a ROMs folder under "Library/Application Support/openMSX".
Thanks for reading and please remember, I mean no offense, I'm just expressing my humble opinion as an openMSX user.
